“Europeade” is a unique phenomenon in life of art fans. It is a wonderful feeling of seeing variety of European flags waving at squares and stadiums and happy people of different nationalities in a spree of dance”, Nijolė Ritvienė, the manager of a folk-dance ensemble “Neris”, says. The ensemble is a regular participant of “Europeade”, representing Lithuania since 1997.

From August 5th to 9th, the yearly onsite event originally planned this year in the Lithuanian city of Klaipeda will be replaced by a virtual meeting, Europeade 2020 – Together virtually, fitting into its normal 5-day programme of shows, parades and balls. Hundreds of groups from Portugal to the Baltic States, from Cyprus to Scotland will share a unique moment of culture and friendship and invite you to join in.

Stay tuned for a detailed programme that will be published just before the event and can be followed on our website www.europeade.eu and Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/europeade.eu

Together, let’s beat the disease and confinement, and gather in a unique 5-day experience to share the Europe of culture in its diversity. All participants do so at their own expense! So, come and support them and enjoy the show!

The show must go on! Let’s make the Europe of Culture great together!
